​The recreation program is more than just a series of events it is ...
Community: Engage in various activities, from creative workshops to group outings and skill-building sessions.

Development: Experience personal growth beyond leisure, fostering skills and abilities.

Supportive & Inclusive: Enhance social skills, decision-making, and money management within a welcoming environment.

Individualized: Tailored experiences cater to unique interests and needs, ensuring inclusivity for all participants.

Caregiver Respite: Recognizing the importance of supporting individuals and caregivers, our program offers much-needed respite time.

How to get involved

The Portal inc. Recreation and Leisure programs are tailored to individuals aged 18 and older, offering a variety of engaging activities tailored to their interests and needs.

​To Join the Portal inc program first connect with your current funding source and then make an appointment to meet with  one of our Portal Rec. facilitators.
They'll assist with paperwork and provide necessary information.​

Funding for this program can be arranged through
​Wisconsin Family Care Program, IRIS, or Private Pay.

The Social Recreation Program provides a variety of activities that are both fun and educational.
