Social Recreation and Leisure Program
Our Social Recreation Program is key to essential skill building, socialization, community inclusion, and promotes wellness and well-being. It is unique in that we base our activities off of choice and personal interests of our participants all while following our acronym "RISE":

There are a variety of community and in-house events and gatherings for our participants to take part in. It's a fun way for individuals to pursue current interests and hobbies and explore new ones while reinforcing skills in areas like money management and making personal choices. Some of these activities include:

Recreation and Leisure is available to individuals age 18 and up. Funding may be arranged through Wisconsin Family Care Program, IRIS, or Private Pay.
To part-take in any of our programs as a participant, you will need to contact your current funding source, then meet with a Portal Rec. facilitator and complete relevant paperwork.
