Adult Life Transitions (High School Students)
Preparing for Adult Life through Community Connections and Employment Preparedness
Portal assists transitioning students and their families to think about life after high school, to identify their desired goals and to start planning their community experiences and involvement. By starting this process early, students acquire the knowledge and skills to achieve their goals. Our transition process empowers students to move successfully from school to employment and community participation based on the student's interests, preferences and abilities. Employment opportunities are available after school and during the summer.
We work with local High Schools all across Ozaukee County helping to also bring students together for community and social opportunities while also building upon these essential life skills together and with our experienced staff. Thank you United Way of Northern Ozaukee and United Way of Greater Milwaukee and Waukesha County, along with The State of Wisconsin DWD for financial support of the Adult Life Transitions program. |
