About Portal, Inc.

Portal, Inc. is a nonprofit agency serving adults and youth with developmental and intellectual disabilities since 1965.  Portal has a proud history of advocating for and supporting residents of Ozaukee County.  Today, Portal serves more than 250 people with disabilities, providing the supports and experiences to live more fulfilling and meaningful lives.

We believe that employment opportunities in fully integrated work settings are a priority and the encouraged option for individuals who want to work.  We also offer service opportunities that support involvement in the community by facilitating new experiences, gaining personal and social confidence, meeting new people and developing independent and interdependent life skills for quality living.
