Job Club

Job Club is offered throughout the year to individuals who are currently employed or are seeking employment.  It's an educational and social opportunity for participants to discuss the successes and challenges of their jobs with others.  Each meeting focuses on a topic, with a special guest.  Past guests have included bank executives, Ozaukee Shared Ride Taxi staff, and staffing agency executives to talk about money management, how to ride the public taxi and cell phone etiquette. 

People First

People First is a self-advocacy group for individuals with developmental disabilities.  The five guiding principles of a People First Chapter include: The Chapter is run by and for individuals with disabilities, solving problems and making decisions for ourselves, knowing our rights and responsibilities, speaking up for ourselves and contributing to our community.  

Aktion Club


​Aktion Club is one of the Kiwanis family service leadership programs.  It provides an opportunity for individuals to develop initiative, leadership skills and service in the community.  The core values are character-building, leadership, inclusiveness and caring.

Social Club

Social Club is a self-directed opportunity for participants age 18 and above who are able to self-supervise, manage their own care needs and are physically able to participate with minimal assistance.  This small group determines meeting times and creates their own calendar of monthly activities.  Transportation is provided to and from Portal.    

Family Circles

Family Circles gives families the opportunity to socialize together, explore new leisure activities and create a lasting support system with other families.  Our events are reasonably prices with no additional service fees or additional authorizations needed. "Family" may extend outside your immediate household.  Serving families with sons and/or daughters with disabilities age 5 and up.   Transportation may be provided to and from Portal. 

Pi Road Trips

PI Road Trips are designed to encourage personal growth and independence through community inclusion.  Our traveler's will have the opportunity to savor new cuisine, marvel at destination sites, indulge in learning, develop relationships and have fun!

Next Chapter Book Club

Next Chapter Book Club is a  community-based book club for adolescents and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  Our members (including some who cannot read) love books for the same reasons most people do.  They enjoy being transported to different worlds where they meet interesting characters and learn about exciting new things.  Taking that journey with a group of friends makes it even more fun.

Our Mission:
To enhance opportunities for people with disabilities to participate fully in their community as valued neighbors, productive workers and respected citizens.
